Site's back up. The domain was expired over the weekend (as you can see in Blog:Alan-2005.Mar.12-13:34), but it's back up now. I called this morning and paid $20 to renew the domain for another year. I'm most definitly transfering to godaddy; they havn't given me any problems with any of the domains i've setup through them, nor people I know...

over the weekend, i backed up a bunch of audio CDs. I don't know why specifically, just started doing it.

I told Jason Smithson about it and he told me i should be doing what he does which is rip all CDs without encoding, and then encode all of the ripped CDs with LAME using the -alt-preset-extreme setting. [1] He's a freak, but he's probably right, and i have the drive space for slightly larger files. I am looking into this and will create an article on CD ripping.
