Ingredients
- ~2cups cooked garbanzo beans (see cooking beans if you don't want to use canned beans)
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions
I a food processor or blender, mix (grind) ingredients slowly together adding the least amount of water possible to allow the food processor (or blender) to keep going. Add olive oil after the fact, to taste.
Possible Variations
Additional spices:
- Tandoori (~ 1/3 teaspoon)
Additions:
- Roasted Red Pepper
- Mediterranean olives (soft)
